Practical printing guide

Print the page you need, at the size it was designed for.

Use these checks for BrightNestActivities PDFs and PNG files before printing a full collection.

Choose the file that matches your paper

A4 is common in many countries. US Letter is common in the United States and parts of North America. Open the PDF labeled for the paper already loaded in your printer.

Avoid converting between sizes unless your printer requires it. Using the matching file keeps the page frame and print-safe margins in their intended positions.

Print one test page first

Check that all four sides of the page frame are visible and that no text or artwork is cropped. If the frame is cut off, confirm the paper size and scale before changing printer margins.

Use the printer setting that suits the activity

Standard or draft quality may be enough for everyday coloring. Higher quality can help when a page includes finer lines. The activity pages are black and white, so color ink is not required unless the printer uses a combined cartridge.

Prepare only the pages you plan to use

Print a small selection for a quiet-time folder, classroom center, travel pack, or homeschool table. Keep the original download in a secure adult-controlled location and follow the included personal-use license.
